I was hoping to show you pictures of this cookie, because it's so pretty. However, they were all ate...ahem. So, I'll show a picture of some beautiful tea towels instead.
1/2 c shortening
1 2/3 c sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 oz unsweetened chocolate, melted
2 c flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
5 T milk
1/3 c powdered sugar
Cream shortening with sugar. Blend in eggs, vanilla, and chocolate mixing thoroughly. Sift together dry ingredients and add in alternating with milk. Chill for 4-6 hours. Form into small balls and dip in powdered sugar. Bake @ 375 for 12-15 min.
